Woodland Lake, Brighton, MI

I played hooky from work this morning and went to a Woodland lake here in town. There was a lot of activity on the lake and I saw my first green heron. I caught a few fish too, but the birds were better than the fishing today. All photos were taken with my new 70-200mm lens with a 1.7x teleconverter attached. So far I am very happy with the lens.

Edit: My wife and I stopped by the park after dinner and found some Sandhill Cranes so I added those.
