My wife and I visited the Toledo Zoo this weekend. It is much more compact than the Detroit Zoo, but many of the animals were away for the winter. Also it is possible to get much closer to the beasts here, but almost all photos were taken through glass, fence, or netting. This is not the most photographer friendly zoo but some shots came out O.K.
