These photos are from November 5, 2012. On my road trip through the West, Bryce Canyon was my main destination. I had heard a lot about this area but had not studied it much. Partially due to sloth and partially due to my desire to experience it through my own eyes. When I first approached the rim of the Amphitheater I was taken aback by the beauty and detail. Here are some of my photos from my first day. I did spend the night there and will post my photos from the next morning soon. Note that some of these photos are from more than 30 minutes after sunset and are 20 second exposures.
