April in Michigan
I realized that I hadn’t posted many photos from April so I chose a few from my catalog.
Lake Conway, AR
Found some Green Herons feeding just below the dam at Lake Conway. Next thing I know there were some small planes buzzing me so I turned the camera up to catch them.
Long Park, Commerce Township, MI

Cinque Terre, Italy
My wife and I visited Cinque Terre for a day recently. It is an incredible place and one of the most impressive man-made areas that I have ever seen. Here are a few vacation photos.
Kensington Weekend
The herons were flying all weekend and the swans have built their nests and were mating.
Kensington

Mallards
Mostly from Long Park in Commerce Township, but a couple from the Mill Pond in Brighton this evening as well. Plus two of some turtles sunning themselves. There were over one hundred turtles out in one corner of the pond!
Kensington Again
A few more from another short trip this evening. The herons weren’t flying too much today.
Kensington Metropark
Finally back to Michigan just in time to catch an incredible sunset and lots of activity at Kensington.
Kensington
I stopped by Kensington Metropark for a walk again the other day. There is a ton of activity out there from deer to turkeys.
